About Me
I am a board certified psychiatrist, with a sub-specialty in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
My top priority is the well-being of my patients and I am committed to providing the highest level of psychiatric care.
I recognize the importance of the unique needs of every individual and provide a personalized, empathic and non-judgmental approach to each patient I work with.
In my practice, I begin with psychotherapeutic dialogue and move toward developing a comprehensive treatment plan. This may include psychotropic medications when indicated, and always, my recommendations will reflect up-to-date standard practice guidelines.
I work in close collaboration with primary care doctors/pediatricians/ psychologist/therapists/educational advocates in order for my patients to achieve their behavioral health goal and to improve overall life outcome.
In my practice I implement personalized medicine technologies to tailor treatment to the patient’s individual needs including pharmacogenomic testing to understand how patient’s DNA may affect the effect of medication and vice versa

I am currently an assistant professor of clinical psychiatry and pediatrics at USC/Keck School of Medicine and an attending psychiatrist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Providing care for my patients in a private practice setting allows me to take time with my patients and work with families without outside time pressures.
